I hope you are well, in whatever form you are, going by Hindu philosophy. By the Catholic philosophy, I know you are in heaven, and so that’s cool :). I love you, and I think of you all the time. No amount of years can make your memory fade away, and no amount of happiness can fill the void of not having you around.
There is no one I am so scared of, and there is no one who understands me better. You were and shall remain my favorite person in the world, while dad’s a close second.
I hope could somehow tell you that I am doing my job. I am taking care of dad and brother, to the best of my abilities. That is-and always will be- my main job. I promise that to you. Whenever in a quandary, I ask myself,’ what would mum have wanted me to do?’ And I get my answer. I still trust you implicitly. For me you have done no wrong, can do no wrong. You are my God. You are my faith.
I would have loved to see the look of satisfaction on your beautiful face. I have seen laughter, tears and anger. But fate didn’t give me the chance to see that look of contentment that comes from knowing that ones children are doing well in life.
I will try to become a better person. I will take care of our family. And I will always love you. Thanks for everything, and sorry for everything.
There is so much more I could write, and there is so much more I want to write, but the human eye cannot see very well with tears in them, and so I will stop. I hope you are happy with how I’ve turned up. And I hope that you are happy, healthy and content.”

- Love, Kartik..

"Currently reading-

3. The One Minute Manager by Kenneth Blanchard and Spenser Johnson.

I don’t know why, but I have this unstoppable urge to write everything down. My weekend schedule, the books I am reading, etc. Now, I don’t have to write that I plan to go for a swim or play football, do I? I still do it! And it has to be a proper list, buletted and formatted. Sigh! At least I am in the right profession :).
”

- Me.

"A Drunkard was trying the one handed Titanic pose while crossing the Bhayandar creek on the train...."

“A Drunkard was trying the one handed Titanic pose while crossing the Bhayandar creek on the train. In his obvious revelry, he must have forgotten about the poles which supports wires that are instrumental in relaying Direct Current for the trains to run and hence, are aplenty alongside the tracks.
No, no, he didn’t get a shock. The wires are high up and accessible to only those stupid few who think sitting over the compartment is a smart way to travel-and have a death wish. But he got hit by one pole. Hit hard. Started crying like a baby. Darn, it was funny!
1. Grab a Computer chair. ( Like this one- http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dfphtj9v_42crs2h6d6)
2. Use your legs and rapidly rotate the chair for all you’re worth.Note- Directions are optional. Ensure your legs are in the air when rotating to rotate freely and quickly.
3. Feel the ‘high’! Note- Some people may feel the need to barf. Positioning the chair close to the toilet is a good idea.
